Act 1: Wandering the Streets of Berlin
"Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it."
The scene opens on the beautiful city of Berlin Germany. The sun was shinning high over the city against he bright blue sky for another day. The streets were not as crowded as they usually were but still tourists made their way around the city taking in the sites around them. The Spree River wound itself along the banks of the city, as a few personal vessels moved along the water way. It was an unusually warm day for mid January even on the banks of the river. The smell from the local bakeries fill the air mixing with the smells from the local restaurants that could be found within the city. The smell of smoke drifted on the air from the chimney's from the homes that could be found scattered through the city. The once green fields were now a dull green with brown patches for another winter. The bright red orange roofs could be seen as far as the eye could see mixed with the newer skyscrapers that littered the city. Historical sites were all indicated with plaques along certain places in the city. The camera moves over the city and soon comes to a stop on one of the massive buildings wit high glass windows and domes on the main part of the roof. This was the Reichstag. A plaque in front of it read something about it in German with a translation underneath or those that didn't speak the language. We soon see Necra dressed in a pair of long black pants with silver threads moving through it. A long black trench coat with her long black raven hair draped down her back, with a pair of black high heeled boots on her feet. She stares up at the building as her eyes start to turn into a bright blue color. She closes her eyes and they are back to their normal color as she sees a familiar face. It was Denise De'Vil. She smiles seeing Necra at the bottom of the stairs as she approaches.
Denise: Necra?
Necra: Denise? What are you doing here?
Denise: I could ask you the same thing.
Necra: I'm here with SEE for a match. What about you?
Denise looks down at the ground and slowly looks up at Necra.
Denise: I came to see an old friend.
Necra: Really? They must be...
Denise nods.
Denise: Yeah... He's pushing 80.
Necra: Wow... You're robbing the cradle aren't you?
Denise: I am not...
Necra laughs as Denise sees a shimmering diamond ring on Necra's hand.
Denise: What's that?
Necra: This? Ex asked me to marry him.
Denise: When?
Necra: At uncle Seph's party at Christmas.
Denise: I bet you're over the moon right now aren't you?
Necra: I am. I've waited forever for him to ask.
Denise: About time.
Necra smile as the two of them start to walk along the street in front of the massive building.
Denise: So what kind of match do you have coming up?
Necra: I have to face another champion. They are combining my Florida Championship and his Legacy Championship.
Denise raises an eyebrow.
Denise: Really? You are the champion of Florida? Of course you do spend enough time there...
Necra: Ha ha very funny.
Denise: I'm sorry I had to.
Necra: Of course you did. This isn't the first title that I've had there. I've had it before so you know if I lose it, it's not going to bother me none. But... I would love to be the first champion of the new title.
Denise: There's nothing wrong with that, considering that you are a triple crown Champion and a hall of famer.
Necra: From what I found out about him he' a hall of famer too. But he doesn't strike me as a Crown Champion.
Denise: Probably isn't. But then again what do you know about this guy?
Necra shakes her head.
Necra: Nothing much. What I did find didn't really help me. He doesn't like the fact that he has to face off against women...
Denise: He's one of those guys. Why do they think we can't handle ourselves in the ring against them? Both of us have done more than what most of them have done in their careers.
Necra: I have no clue but this guy hasn't said anything yet. Jimmy Blast... What a name.
Denise: I have to agree with you there.
Necra smiles as they soon stop in front of a memorial for those that perished in the Holocaust. Denise stares up at the giant slabs of concrete that loomed out as far as they could see.
Denise: Let me guess you can see them can't you...
Necra nods as she look out over the slabs seeing spirits moving among the slabs.
Necra: I wish I could turn it off at times.
Denise: I can see why. This isn't the only place. I mean the whole city is...
Necra: Filled with spirits. Yeah I know. I should have just stayed in my hotel room.
Denise: Oh don't be silly. This city is full of life and unlife and the second you really can't do anything about. They will always be here.
Necra: Yeah I know. But I can't let that get to me right now right?
Denise: Right.
Denise's phone rings and she smiles softly as she pulls out the phone from her pocket.
Denise: Damn I have to go.
Necra: It's alright. I'm sure that Ambros needs you more than I do at the moment.
Denise laughs as she walks off leaving Necra alone once again. Necra walks among the rows of massive slabs taking in the silence around her.
Necra: For a massive city this is one of the most silent places I've ever seen. To those of the living world you do not see what I do... What I see is a sea of innocent people that never had a chance in this world. They call to me, they beg me for peace but even with the power that I have will never be enough to put these souls to rest. However... You I can deal with. I know you don't like the fact that you have to face a woman but I don't care who I face and never have. Man or woman I will take down and make you wish that you never heard of me in the end.
Her high heeled shoes click along the marble pathway as she walks along. She hears a giggle as she turns a corner but sees nothing. Necra sighs as she continues along feeling more eyes on her as she moves along.
Necra: Jimmy Blast... I'm not even sure where to really start with you. I mean I have never heard of you let alone realized that you held a title at the moment or even held the Adrenaline. You see on my first run here I held three titles. The Adrenaline , The BloodLust and the one I now carry The Floridian State. You've only held two and that is why I'm not worried about you. You still think that you are going to beat me? I've walked through hell and back and into the darkness. What have you done that I should even truly worry about? Hardly. You are worthless like so many others that have stood against me. So what if you have a title in hand? You somehow managed to sneak by everyone that is worth something and take it and hold onto it but even that is going to be ripped out of your hands in the end.
Necra round the corner as her hand starts to turn skeletal. She sighs as walks along and soon reaches the middle of the Memorial seeing the underground area. The walls were done in a darker stone with the names of those that had been killed engraved into the walls. Spot lights cast dim light in the long hallway as she passes by half in the light and half within darkness. Her eyes had seemed to shift into a milky white as both hand were now skeletal.
Necra: I stand on both sides of the veil. Between life and death. The souls cry out to me but they shall never be free from what happened to them. But you... You Jimmy have been put on notice, and your end will not come as quick as you think it will. I will take such joy in what I am about to do to you and not even look back when all is said and done. I've done this song and dance before and I have only failed once. I will not repeat my mistake, not now, not ever again. You shall fall, and when you do you will look up at me and realize that I am your superior in every possible way. I am the Goddess of the Dead, The Queen of Death, The Angel of Death, The Reaper of Souls, The Lady in Black, The Crawling Chaos, The Creeping Death, The Child of Heaven and Hell! Fear me for when you look upon me you will see your end. See you soon and good luck, you're going to need it.
She laughs as she turns and walks into the darkness as the scene fades to black.
